Thank you so much for supporting our efforts to feed hungry children in Ukraine. Two and a half years of war have wreaked havoc on the economy and have left many children orphans.
War also makes life fluid; things can change on a dime.
We are so grateful that you understand this and have helped us start feeding orphans in Odesa, a port city on the Black Sea that is very close to active warfare.
Pastor Ihor Kucher of Grace Baptist Church in Odesa, Ukraine, has been a ministry partner since Oleg’s seminary days in the early 2000s. We know him to be a man of integrity and a true servant of God. His church has supported orphans for over 25 years. Ihor reached out to us because he needed help feeding orphans at his church. Every month, the church receives requests from the government to care for children coming in from active war zones. The Ukrainian Hyrivna has lost more than half its value since the beginning of the war, jobs are scarce, and inflation is rampant. Therefore, the church’s ability to care for more children has been hampered.
That is where YOU come in. By giving to TAL Ukraine, you have helped us feed 40 new orphans a month!
We would like to introduce you to two of them: Alyisa and her brother Aleksander. Their mother died during the war, and they were left without a caregiver. The government had a hard time placing these children because Alyisa has Tuberculosis. The Lord directed these precious children to Ihor’s church, and they accepted them. Alyisa and Aleksander are adjusting to their new circumstances, and Alyisa is receiving care for her illness. Please pray for Grace Baptist Church as they do the hard work of caring for the children of war as well as hundreds of hungry refugees that they feed every day. Pray for this horrible war to end.
Thank you for your sacrificial giving to this ministry!
